Professional 3D Printing

3D printing is used to produce medical productsAs seen on the sign along the A2:

Over the years Xilloc gathered considerable knowledge in 3D printing (aka Additive Manufacturing): in 2006 we produced the world’s first 3D printed titanium skull implant and in 2011 the first full titanium mandible. Soon we will be the first to offer 3D printed implants in a bone-like material. So you can see that 3D printing is part of our day-to-day routine; besides 3D printed customized implants in titanium we 3D print all our surgical guides in plastic and all our skull models in plastic or plaster.

We recognize a need in other companies for exactly this kind of high quality, professional 3D printed parts and therefore we now launch our Industrial business unit. This industrial business unit will offer several 3D printing services to customers in for example the aerospace, automotive and tooling industry. To support this, Xilloc moved to the Brightlands campus in Sittard-Geleen and with their help and a “borgstellingskrediet” from the Rabobank, we invested in 4 new professional 3D printers from renown machine manufacturer EOS.

The services we offer include:

  • small batch or serial production
  • part re-design for 3D printing
  • consultancy and training
