About the role

As a Design & Production Engineer, you will be part of a team that combines engineering excellence with medical innovation. By transforming patient data into personalised implants, you will help surgeons deliver better outcomes and improve patients' lives.

In this role, you will be involved in the complete process, from 3D modelling and implant design to production, finishing, and delivery. Working closely with fellow engineers and surgeons around the world, you will tackle complex challenges and bring technology to life with a tangible impact on healthcare.

What will you do?

Design

  • Transform medical imaging data into accurate 3D models
  • Design patient-specific implants tailored to individual anatomy
  • Collaborate with surgeons and fellow engineers to develop innovative technical solutions
  • Prepare and optimise designs for efficient manufacturing

Production

  • Set up and operate advanced CNC and 3D printing equipment
  • Manufacture and post-process high-precision implants
  • Inspect products and production processes to ensure compliance with strict quality standards

 

Who are you?

  • You have an MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking, for example in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with CAD software and/or CNC machining is a strong advantage
  • Affinity with medical technology is a plus
  • You are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and enjoy hands-on work
  • You communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • You are motivated by the opportunity to use engineering to create solutions with real impact
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and writing skills
  • Dutch speaking is a plus
